Heather Phillips is passionate about connecting the design community. Today, she is a Designer in Residence at Designer Fund, where she builds scalable ways to help designers find meaningful roles at design-focused companies. She has led product and communication design at top technology startups (RelateIQ, Yammer), and previously worked in more traditional communication and print design (Airbnb, Chronicle Books).
Heather earned a MFA in Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design. She now leads the Northern California RISD Alumni Chapter, planning events and connecting the 1200+ active members.
Matthew builds and nurtures brands that seek to fight for deeper meaning and connection with the world around them. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Misfit. Prior, he cofounded Mosey, as CMO and then later as CEO. He served as VP of Brand at Old Navy for Gap, Inc and before that, VP of Brand Experience at Method Products. Matthew currently resides in San Francisco's Duboce Triangle neighborhood.
Ayesha was raised in Bangalore, India and educated in the cultural nexus of New York, Paris and San Francisco. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Ayesha has over fifteen years of experience crafting strategy and creative direction for global companies including Apple, Facebook, The Insight Labs, Sephora, Amazon Lab126 and The Smithsonian.
With a background in brand building, digital design and marketing, Ayesha has been published in Forbes, Women 2.0, YourStory.in and Branding Magazine. A passionate advocate for the $20 Trillion Female Economy, Ayesha is a speaker, startup advisor, angel investor and is often invited to judge pitch competitions and interactive/new media award shows.
